On July 16th, 2018 a group of young volunteers got together and decided to make their world just a little bit better. At the Together We Rise headquarters in Brea, California they assembled 80 care packages for local kids currently in foster care. These packages included basic supplies like sun screen, insect repellent, and towels, as well as summer toys and essential gear like Hang Ten Kids sunglasses. Enclosed were hand written notes from our young volunteers to the recipient, offering words of encouragement and friendship. We here at Hang Ten Kids feel especially blessed that we were able to contribute to such a cause, and will continue to do so whenever the opportunity presents itself.
